At the age of 24, academic prodigy, Eleanor Earl, began teaching at the collegiate level as an Adjunct Professor of Humanities at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. Several years later, after completing a second masters degree from New York University, she secured a post as an Adjunct Professor of Communication, Rhetorical Theory and Humanities at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. After 5 years she returned to Hampton University and became an Assistant Professor of English and Director of the Film Studies Program. During her 12-year tenure, she founded, directed, and produced The Hampton University Film Festival, which was funded by a grant she co-wrote and secured from the Mellon Foundation.
Professor Earl has also partnered with ICARUS AI, an e-learning AI-driven features platform, along with Mathew Knowles, a globally recognized leader in the fields of sales, marketing, brand development, entrepreneurship and leadership. With over $5 billion generated across multiple industries, over $100 million in sales and acquisitions, and the development, recording and distribution of some of culture's most notable careers such as Beyoncé, Destiny's Child, Earth, Wind & Fire, Solange and many more. In the world of entertainment, Ms. Earl has developed producing partnerships with many notable entertainment executives and creatives, to include Shomi Patwary, an award-winning director and co-founder of Illusive Media( www.illusivemedia.com ). Ms. Earl produced the feature-length documentary, Searching for Shaniqua, which won the HBO Best Documentary Award at Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival and was screened at additional film festivals and universities such as the Bronze Lens Film Festival and Harvard University.
Ms Earl currently works as a Film, Television and Media Writers and Producer. She most recently served as a founding partner and VP of Strategic Partnerships for Whitfield Entertainment Group Studios (“WEG Studios”), based in Washington, D.C. (www.wegstudios.com) . While with WEG Studios she also brokered an exciting gaming partnership with an award-winning gaming start-up, Raxplay (www.raxplay.io), and Billboard charting band, ZupaNova.
In collaboration with Mr. John D. Boyd, the founder and president of Roc Nation’s label imprint, Peace Industry Music Group, Ms. Earl co-produced the first national tour for the sibling band Infinity Song (www.infinitysongmusic.com) and their sister, Victory Boyd (www.victoryboyd.com). In addition, Ms. Earl works with Mr. Boyd in the development of projects for this rising family phenomenon, who recently went super viral in the summer of 2023 with their song, Hater’s Anthem (https://nypost.com/2023/08/16/gen-z-reclaims-the-word-hater-in-viral-anti-woke-backlash/).
In November 2023, Eleanor was officially appointed President/Executive Director of Dok International Media Network.
